Hmmmmm….did you know that King John decreed in the Magna Carta in 1215 that:
There shall be standard measures of wine, ale, and corn (the London quarter), throughout the kingdom.
There we have the legal importance of beer cemented into the founding document of the British and American constitutions, legal systems and declaration of human rights!
